Event Details

On Nov. 22 at 2-4 p.m. ET, TeamBoston hosts "Joy of Sox & 'Staches" event at King's Back Bay near Hynes Auditorium, Boston. Attendees will enjoy "The Joy of Sox & 'Staches" an interactive program with documentary film maker Eric Leskowitz (See trailer here: http://bit.ly/JoyOfSox or @joyofsoxmovie on Twitter) and a special video from 3x cancer survivor Alicia Staley, Staley Foundation (@stales) & maybe a doctor from Dana Farber on stage talking about how thought and belief plays a role in our passion for Sox success, and more importantly, fighting cancer. More info on film that is still being produced is available at http://www.thejoyofsoxmovie.com.

All money raised goes to Movember and their charities Livestrong and Prostate Cancer Foundation. In attendance will be members of #TeamBoston rallying under Movember who are passionate about Red Sox and supporting cancer research, as well as, other friends in social media, marketing, charities and sports circles. TeamBoston has a special battle with TeamAustin to raise the most money in the U.S.

The hosts ask that you consider making a donation at the door or on this EventBrite page or better yet directly to TeamBoston & charities at Adam Zand's Movember page: http://us.movember.com/mospace/230543.

There will be a paid raffle (including 1967 framed photo of Yaz from @peplau & other items from @gradontripp & @vanillabean45). We are seeking partners for this event (and TeamBoston) and would welcome creative ideas how to maximize donations to the charities until the end of the month.

Lastly, we will have a sizable number of people who will remain at King's Back Bay for the 4:15 Patriots vs. Jets game on TV. King's (@KingsBackBay) generously donated a private room for this event. Light snacks provided and cash bar.

Any questions or creative fund-raising ideas, please contact Adam Zand @NoOneYouKnow or 781-643-6960 or adamzandpr at gmail.com. For those that love hashtags, go with #JoyOfSox #TeamBoston #Movember.

He was recently picked by Arlington Fossils as "Mr. Congeniality" and demanded a recount because of that game in Medford. He is Almost Ubiquitous as a marketing consultant at www.adamzand.com.

Arlington Soccer for Social Change is a great excuse to chase a ball and raise money for The Children's Room and men's cancer research through Movember: www.bit.ly/MoZand
